What is the difference between fire-fighting facilities and fire-fighting equipment?

There are differences in functions and uses between fire-fighting facilities and fire-fighting equipment. Fire-fighting equipment refers to equipment used for fire extinguishing, fire prevention and fire accidents, including fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, water hoses, water guns, demolition tools, etc. Fire protection facilities refer to automatic fire alarm systems, fire hydrant systems, automatic fire extinguishing systems, smoke prevention and exhaust systems, emergency broadcasting, emergency lighting, and safe evacuation facilities.
Although fire-fighting facilities and fire-fighting equipment are both used for fire safety, they have certain differences in functions and uses.
(1) Firefighting equipment refers to equipment used for fire extinguishing, fire prevention and fire accidents, mainly including fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, water hoses, water guns, demolition tools, etc. Among them, fire extinguishers can be divided into five categories according to the fire extinguishing agent they are filled with.
Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher.
Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguisher.
③Water-based fire extinguishers (including water fire extinguishers and foam fire extinguishers).
④Clean gas Fire Extinguisher (such as haloalkane type fire extinguisher). Fire extinguishers can be divided into three categories based on the type of pressure that drives the fire extinguisher.
① Gas storage type fire extinguisher refers to a fire extinguisher in which the fire extinguishing agent is driven by the pressure of compressed gas or liquefied gas released from the gas storage bottle on the fire extinguisher.
② Pressure-storage fire extinguisher refers to a fire extinguisher in which the fire extinguishing agent is driven by the pressure of compressed gas or fire-extinguishing vapor in the same container of the fire extinguisher.
③Chemical reaction fire extinguisher refers to a fire extinguisher in which the fire extinguishing agent is driven by the gas pressure generated by the chemical reaction in the fire extinguisher.
(2) Fire protection facilities refer to automatic fire alarm systems, fire hydrant systems, automatic fire extinguishing systems, smoke prevention and exhaust systems, emergency broadcasts, emergency lighting, and safe evacuation facilities, etc.
In general, fire-fighting facilities are a broad concept that includes a variety of equipment systems required for fire fighting, while fire-fighting equipment is specific equipment used for fire extinguishing and fire prevention.
